Hello and welcome!
A DFW native, I began my career with local corporations like American Airlines and JCPenney, where I cut my teeth on editorial design and retail art direction before pivoting to the motion picture industry in Los Angeles.
Freelancing in sets, props, wardrobe, and production for movies and commercials was fast-paced with a lot of moving parts. It taught me to plan with the left side of my brain, create with my right, hire up, and delegate mindfully. It also showed me the value of slowing down to enjoy life amidst this incredibly surreal career.
I moved home and landed a role designing for Neiman Marcus. Around this time, my high school sweetheart came back into my life, and within two years we married and welcomed our son.
A year later, I launched a branding and design business for B2B and B2C clients. From luxury travel to urban development, wellness and more, I partnered with stakeholders to develop and refine the visual presence, personality, and overall impact of their brands. My favorite part? Listening to entrepreneurs talk about where they’ve been and where they want to go, and then building a bridge to get them there.
After a few years, I closed the doors on full-scale projects to be more present for my family. I now offer brand consulting services on a contract basis.
Additionally, I’m in my third year directing on-set product and lifestyle photography for Chewy. Being a member of the team that has taken the company from startup to Fortune 500 has been an incredible opportunity for growth with many blessings woven in—especially the endless puppy cuddles!
